Partyslam is a special packaging for preparing and consuming slammer/boom cocktails. The container solution we designed enables the consumer to mix their slammer in the traditional way, but without the usually associated hassles. Partyslam contains two drinks, one carbonated and one liquor, which we mix by slamming the packaging down on a hard surface. The whole process happens in a self-contained packaging which is opened quickly an instant before drinking. Partyslam opens easily, and after removing the top our cocktail can be enjoyed from the glass.
So far slammers are only enjoyed in the comfort of a home, as making a slammer requires quite a few items which we don’t have on hand everywhere we go. It also makes a bit of a mess, so we need a rag to cover our glasses before slamming them. This rag, while keeping in most of the beverage, also sucks some of it up, so you lose part of your cocktail. Also, if we use the wrong glass, there is a good chance it could break upon slamming, which is why we can’t order slammers in most bars.
The packaging solution named Partyslam keeps both drinks stored separately inside the container until the user releases one into the other, and so begins the process of mixing the slammer drink. After that the packaging is slammed on some horizontal surface without worrying about breaking. There is also no chance of the drink being spilled while slamming, since the package is designed so that the cap stays firmly on top during the slamming process and releases in a fraction of a second when the drink has been slammed. But Partyslam isn’t just for slammers; it can be used for any drink where two liquids, powders, or a combination must be kept separate before consumption.
